FrançaisEspañol This year's Championship Annual Montreal Dog Show took place between September 27th and 29th at Place Bonaventure. Organized by the United Kennel Club as well as Diana Edwards (Show Services) and sponsored by Eukanuba, this popular event gathered numerous participants and dog lovers from all across Canada and the United States. Present at the event were dogs of approximately a hundred different breeds as well as several assistance dogs from the MIRA Foundation. As last year, CosmoDoggyLand was present at the event to put the spotlight a different aspect of these four-legged participants, who competed in categories such as conformation, obedience and rally trials. In fact, while nobody can deny that show dogs are professionals at what they do, as evidenced by their numerous ribbons and awards, they are also wonderfully cuddly pets with colorful personalities, a great sense of companionship and a loving nature outside the competition. They all receive specialized training as well as wonderful care and, when not competing, they spend their time playing and enjoying their handlers affection, allowing them to be a real team both in and out of the championship.
