Duke, an adopted shelter dog, saved little 9-week-old Harper’s
life. Duke alerted his parents while they sleeping by jumping on their bed
and shaking uncontrollably. Thanks to Duke's strange behavior they were able to discover that their baby daughter had stopped breathing and called 911. The quick reaction allowed the baby to be assisted just in time and she is doing fine now.
This family had rescued Duke without knowing of his ability as a seizure alert dog and saving his little sister’s life was his way to pay it forward.
